Invazi was founded in mid 2011 by the brothers Jiimi and Nic Poon, in the Netherlands. The company started off as a bridge to fill the gap between the East and the West.

While the country is praised all around the world for their amazing events and dj’s. The brothers Poon born and raised in the Netherlands, didn’t feel the events for their own community reached the standard the country, they were born and raised, stands for. Despite of the large amount of organisations that targeted the community. So they took the initiative, to show their community how an event should be. And that was how their first event “Temptasian” was born in the club Eclipse (Rotterdam, Netherlands). An event that is a dedicated to the pure pleasure of high quality events, where we try to add a unique touch each and every time, and build on the back then popular music style EDM. It was an instant succes, and they had to move their second edition to the largest indoor venue in the Netherlands and reached full maturity holding many events. This made the company, the biggest organiser in their community overnight.

From that moment on, the Poon brothers and their team created a huge variety of high quality concepts with different music styles, themes and ideas, which was aimed to young people with different cultural backgrounds. And more and more are starting to know the name Invazi, and getting into our concepts and are visiting our events more and more frequently. Even Dutch national media began to notice the work of the brothers and invited them for interviews and live reports at their shows.
 
The audience plays an important role in the planning of our events. And that was how we have been able to plan and produce a huge number of events, which has resulted in us gaining a lot of experience. As we often listen to the opinions and ideas of our audience, we gain valuable insight. Which in turn we use to keep learning, and improving ourselves and our organisation. In this way we try to show that we are targeting our events to our audience as perfectly as possible.

What started as a simple idea to bring a unique high quality party to the Asian community, has grown into a popular brand. A brand that is connected to their audience, and because of that is recognisable for thousands of mostly young people with a wide variety of backgrounds and ethnicities. Because of our mission to bridge the gap between East and West, we also tried to mix Asian music influences into our sound. And that also was received with a lot of positive feedback, especially the K-pop sound, because of the many uptempo songs. Which led us to become the very first organisation who brought a live K-pop group to the Netherlands. Many girls from different cultures and countries came to see the show. And since then we were also known as the K-pop pioneer in Europe.

But no matter what we do. Our audience is the most important thing and that’s why we are always aiming to give them a fun experience at every event, by trying to understand and entertain each and every visitor. We provide clear, accessible and recognisable concepts, in order to increase the perception of the world that people have, have them enjoy life. And we always try to bring out the best in people.

We have always believed in the power of our concepts to bring people together and develop beautiful memories together. And that didn’t go unnoticed. We received more and more requests from all around the world for advice and support. And we were even invited by a few huge organisations to fly over to their country, to assist them with their projects.

We are proud that so many people around the world believe in us and like what we do. And we still have a lot of amazing ideas we want to share with more and more people. We feel we are still at the beginning and are getting ready to party with the world!
